How to Order Wholesale Key Fob Packs: Quantity Checklist

By Daniel Shnader · Last updated: October 10, 2026

When ordering wholesale key fob packs, select the item first, then the pack size, then the number of packs. Cart quantity counts packs. A Pack of 5 with a cart quantity of 2 means 10 items. Confirm the exact product and required cutting or programming before deciding how many to buy.

Read pack size and cart quantity separately

The pack selector tells you how many identical items are in one pack. The quantity box tells you how many of those packs you are ordering. Available pack sizes vary by product; choose from the options shown on its page.

Quantity examples only; these are not price offers.
Selected pack Cart quantity Total items
Pack of 2 3 packs 6 items
Pack of 5 2 packs 10 items
Pack of 10 1 pack 10 items

Total items = items per pack × packs ordered. For a kit or set, each item is the kit or set described in the listing. Read its contents rather than treating every component as a separate pack item.

Compare the selected pack’s total price and price per item. A larger pack does not automatically mean a lower price per item. Recheck the pack label and quantity in your cart before checkout.

Verify the item before building inventory

Keep a separate stock record for each SKU. Similar-looking remotes should not share a bin just because their cases or button counts look alike. Record the product reference and the details you have confirmed for the intended job.

Use the FCC ID, OEM reference and fitment guide to organize the checks. An identifier alone does not establish compatibility with every vehicle. Confirm the exact vehicle, key type, button functions, blade requirements and any cutting or programming needs before ordering. If details conflict, resolve them before buying a larger pack.

A simple reorder worksheet

Copy these fields into your existing stock sheet. Use your own completed-job records and upcoming bookings; this worksheet does not predict demand.

SKU and product link
The exact listing you intend to reorder, plus your bin location.
Verified application notes
What you have checked for the intended work, and any unanswered questions.
Usable, uncommitted items on hand
Items available for new work. Exclude damaged items and those already reserved for booked jobs.
Confirmed incoming items
Uncommitted items already ordered that you expect to receive before they are needed.
Additional demand to cover
Your estimate of new, uncommitted work over a period you choose. Do not include jobs already covered by reserved stock.
Extra reserve
An optional buffer you choose for uncertainty. There is no universal right amount.
Pack size and packs to order
The available pack option, resulting item count and current total cost.

One planning method is to add additional demand and your chosen reserve, then subtract usable uncommitted stock and confirmed incoming items. If the result is below zero, use zero. Divide the remaining need by the selected pack size and round up to a whole number of packs.

Worked example: seven items needed

Hypothetical example: a shop expects 9 additional items of one verified SKU to be needed during its planning period. It chooses a reserve of 2, has 4 usable uncommitted items and has none incoming. Its remaining need is 9 + 2 − 4 − 0 = 7 items.

If the selected listing offers a Pack of 5, ordering 2 packs supplies 10 items—3 more than the calculated need. The buyer can compare other available pack options and their current prices before choosing. These numbers illustrate the arithmetic; they are not a sales forecast, stock recommendation or claim about demand for any vehicle.

Check the order when it arrives

Compare the received SKU, pack count and listed contents with your order. Keep product labels with the stock record so future orders can be checked against the same reference. If something differs, use the store’s current shipping and return terms and contact support before cutting or programming the item.

Public pack orders and wholesale support

Public website orders do not require an account or a minimum order value. Pack of 1 is available where the product page lists it. Recurring trade-account support has separate qualification terms; see the wholesale account information before applying.

Ready to build an order? Browse the catalog and check each selected pack. If the item details or order quantities are unclear, contact Car Keys Wholesale before purchasing.
