Where to Buy Car Keys and Key Fobs Wholesale (Locksmith Guide)

By Daniel Shnader · Last updated: October 28, 2026

When you buy car keys, remotes and key blanks wholesale, compare identifier accuracy, pack sizes, shipping time and support before you compare price. A cheap key that does not match the vehicle costs more than the savings, because you pay for the wrong part, the return and the second trip.

What to compare between wholesale suppliers

Key blanks, remotes and smart keys are different buying decisions

  1. Key blanks and mechanical keys are matched mainly by blade profile and keyway.
  2. Transponder keys need the right chip type as well as the blade, and then programming.
  3. Remotes and smart keys are matched by FCC ID and layout, then paired to the vehicle.

Match each key with the FCC ID lookup table before you order, or start from the vehicle with Find Your Key.

How to start without risk

  1. Order a pack of 1 or 2 for your top 5 vehicles.
  2. Test the fit, the programming and the buttons with your own tools.
  3. Move up to bigger packs only for the models that sell.

Businesses that expect to spend $1,000 or more a month can request a wholesale account for recurring supply on the wholesale page. Browse everything on locksmith supplies.
